Thursday 3rd February	Group flight to Jose Marti Airport Havana where the group will be met and transported to the accommodation in central Havana.
Friday 4th February	Free day to acclimatise and explore.
Saturday 5th February	Free daytime. An opportunity to explore the sites of central Havana either independently or with our English speaking Cuban guide. 19:30 Opening party with live Cuban band. This will also be an opportunity to meet your Cuban tutors for the week.
Sunday 6th February	10:00 – 16:00 Daytrip to ‘Playas del este’. An organised outing to one of the beautiful beaches to the east of Havana.   Free evening to either relax or to go out to one of the local Salsa clubs or bars.
Monday 7th February	10:00 - 12:30 Salsa percussion workshop for all participants. 13:30 - 16:00 Split into sections and begin to study parts for Cha-Cha-Cha.
Tuesday 8th February	10:30 – 12:30 Split into sections, percussion, singers and instrumentalists, to continue working on parts for cha-cha-cha with Cuban tutors 13:30 – 16:00 Sections come together to play cha-cha-cha.
Wednesday 9th February	10:00 – 12:30 Split into sections to learn parts for Salsa piece. 13:30 – 16:00 Sections come together to play salsa piece 17:00 – 20:00 Visit to open air live Salsa/ Rumba venue
Thursday 10th February	10:00 – 12:30 Carnaval workshop whole group. 13:30 – 16:00 Carnaval workshop whole group.
Friday 11th February	10:00 – 12:30 Demonstration by Folkloric group, looking at some of the traditional Afro-Cuban styles Rumba, Bata, Palo monte, Abakua. 13:30 – 16:00 Rumba workshop, percussion and song. 21:00 Night out to Casa de la Musica, Salsa discoteca with live band.
Saturday 12th February	10:30 - 18:00 Daytrip to waterfall at Soroa, Pinar del Rio   Evening free to relax or go out to local bars/restaurants.
Sunday 13th February	Group return flight Havana – Paris.

Please note tutors will remain for half an hour after end of workshops to answer any questions and to help anyone who is having difficulty with the material.

Please note that transport for daytrips/visits to sites in Havana is not included. Costs are shared between participants and payment made directly to transport provider (taxi/bus).
